A rolled tape measure is an indispensable tool for a carpenter, glazier and locksmith. Due to its design and the material from which it is made, it is a very handy tool for taking measurements with an accuracy of one millimeter. The scale is applied on a substrate for easy reading of the values, and the possibility of rolling the tape into the cassette makes it easy to wear it on the belt in work trousers. There are two tape brakes in the cassette, momentary and permanent. The magnet-tipped tape makes it easy to measure metal (ferromagnetic) parts.
